Groninger Steenfabrieken, this pottery factory from Groningen produced in the Thirties simple, one coloured kitchenware/hollow-ware items, like flowerpots, jugs and vases. Trained ceramists from Germany, Hungary and Czech Republic were the techical and artistic brains of this factory. Mark/backstamp: ADCO.

The fifties was a flourishing period because of mechanisation, contemporary cheap Adco pottery.
