St. Maarten Porcelein 

Pottery figures/sculptures and porcelain dinnerware made on the potter's wheel, mark/backstamp: foot print which is St./ Sint Maarten trade mark.

Han Knaap started in 1942 with pottery vases and figures and 5 years later with hand turned/thrown porcelain dinnerware. Changed to the pour-procedure 1950 with hard line thin dinnerware. Oriental inspired shaped and glazed vases, foreign competition killed pottery/porcelain factory Sint Maarten in 1960.
