Mosa NV/BV, Koninklijke (Louis Regout)

MosaMaastricht's pottery factory of kitchenware/domestic ceramics and hotel porcelain. Mark/backstamp: the more gates, the older the piece is, see picture.

Porcelain with Chinese (blue), national and interior decorations. Soccer/animal shaped tea pots, commemorative plates. Since 1950 Bellefroid designed for Mosa (his breakthrough) pastel coloured figural shaped pottery dinnerware, named Norma and mocha set Rolande. Mostly kitchenware and hotel porcelain, after Sphinx-Céramique stopped this kind of production, like decor Irma of Bellefroid, which was used in the Dutch reception-room of the Brussels' World Fair 1958.

Dinner sets (1950/60s), childsplay dinnerware. Mosa produced & marketed a dinner set of plastics, Mosalite designed by Bellefroid 1961-1962. Despite of the depression in the ceramics market Mosa produced the very honoured multi functional dinner set Fantasy. Head Pieces' series, dinner sets designed by Frans Molenaar, Jan des Bouvrie, Nini Ferrucci and in 2001 Marte Röling: dots flatware set, blue dots for breakfast, silver dots for lunch and golden dots for dinner.
