Every decoration fitted every model/shape at pottery factory Arnhem, 2 groups decors: dark background with a glossy glaze, showing butterflies & flowers in unicoloured squares with elegant asymmetrical lines. The second one: a white background with mat glaze and linear decorations at red baking clay with abstract-geometrical & flora inspired sceneries.
Oriental/Persian ornament decorations, like Lindus, Ispahan, Persian, Kashmir, Nippon, etc. Models have rising numbers, tallest vase 62 cm/25 inches and the smallest 3 cm/1.2 inches (only for sale per dozen). Because of the strike in 1928/29 in the Gouda pottery factories, sold more decorative art pottery, but became overconfident. Faience Factory Arnhem made with their hudge oven capacity pottery models for other ceramics factories.
The thirties, in the depression period reorganisation and stopped with handpainted decorations, only pottery with drip, spray and splash (black-orange, orange-blue, grey-dark red, etc.) colour combination decorations. Also marbled (grey-white, mint green-white) decorations and unicoloured mat pastel shade green, -yellow or -blue glaze decorations. Also embossed decorations, decoration came with/in the model.
After the burn down of Klaas and Jacob Vet’s Pottery factory Purmerend, they started this faience factory in 1907 in Arnhem, which was a rich city with easy transport of fuel through railway or the river the Rijn. This pottery is loved in whole Europe, New York Sydney. Jacob died in 1924 under suspect circumstances in the London' Thames at one of his business trips.
