In 1900 Lion Cachet made a Dutch Royal edition of decorated (poor quality) flowerpots for the Amsterdam school-girls, commemorate the wedding of Wilhelmina & Hendrik, (41.500 pieces). Experimented with tile-sceneries (for interiors of mail-ships) between 1908-1915 at the Porceleyne Fles. Also worked for Zuid Holland in 1912/1913.
Since 1912 Distel-sceneries and decorative pottery in series (griffin-ornament). Lion Cachet was presented in 1916 as the new designer at de Distel with large number of pottery series in Carduus and sgrafitto-technics. In the period 1923-1930 he became head designer of tile-sceneries at Goedewaagen, till 1945 commerative and decorative art pottery.
Experiments at the Ram between 1931 and 1934. Persian ceramics and Theo Colenbrander were his sources of inspiration, that is why he supported the establishment of the Ram. Lion Cachet could not release his "intuitive freedom" at the different pottery factories. Made also construction-ceramics, like glazed bricks and chimey-covering.
